With Spring just around the corner it’s the perfect time to introduce a bright and fun cocktail to get you thinking about all the flowers that will soon be in bloom. This Queen of Tea original cocktail features Creme de Violette, which offers a subtle floral flavour that matches superbly with either black or green tea to produce a sweet and flavourful drink that is the perfect addition to a spring evening on the porch!
Violet Queen Cocktail Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 oz Creme de Violette
1/4 oz Triple Sec
6 oz cold black or green tea
Optional honey to taste
Directions:
Using a cocktail shaker with ice, combine all ingredients, shake and strain into a glass. Garnish with lemon peel or a candied violet!
